Abbott Elementary Cast Celebrates 100th Episode Milestone

The cast says their close-knit environment remains one of the show's strengths as ABC's 'Abbott Elementary' returns for its sixth season.

Quinta Brunson on 100th Episode Milestone

Creator and star Quinta Brunson said reaching the mark is the result of years of hard work and blood sweat and tears.

“It is intentional. It's no fluke. It's something that you have to really put a lot of blood, sweat and tears into, especially these days. So i'm honored to be able to do it”

William Stanford Davis on Milestone

William Stanford Davis compared the series to iconic shows like 'I Love Lucy' and 'M A S*H' for its lasting impact.

“The shows [like] 'i love lucy,' 'm a s* h,' all these shows, we're in that group. And that's amazing. That's something that me, personally, i've just never anticipated being a part of that family”

Sheryl Lee Ralph's Reaction

Sheryl Lee Ralph called the milestone a second time she has been part of a show reaching 100 episodes.

“i'm, like, 'wow! thank you, god, again and again and again'”

Lisa Ann Walter's Comment

Lisa Ann Walter joked that 'by god' she means Quinta Brunson when discussing the milestone.

“And by 'god,' she means quinta.”

Principal Ava's Future Role

The cast discussed whether principal Ava could become superintendent, with Quinta Brunson saying no and Janelle James calling it boring.

“Respectfully? Brunson said when asked if she could see the character in the role. No. Yes. No. That's just a role that i feel is probably not where ava would want to go.”
