Five women linked

Philadelphia police now connect five missing women to an active investigation centered on a home in Olney. Nicole Fusaro, missing since 2018, is the newest name tied to the case.

The home under scrutiny

The probe centers on Eugene Horsch, 44. His home has been under investigation since June, and police say a case update could come this week.

Images raised alarms

Gabrielle Amarando and Maribel Fresses were both seen in recovered images and videos, police said. Investigators said both appeared to be dead, but their bodies have not been found.

A stolen ID surfaced

Blair Tonzelli was the first woman publicly named. Police say Horsch was arrested with a woman who had Tonzelli’s ID and claimed Horsch gave it to her.

Another family came forward

Amy McHale’s family said she was last seen at the home. She had been married to Horsch’s late father, Raymond, who is also now part of the investigation.

Evidence at the property

Authorities say they found chemicals, drugs, firearms, ballistic evidence, and a 55-gallon drum connected to water lines. They also excavated an underground pipe near the home.

Federal charges remain

Eugene Horsch is in federal custody on firearms charges. Prosecutors say he had guns as a convicted felon, including one with an obliterated serial number, plus fake DEA and FBI credentials.
