Over 1 million files recovered

Nearly 60 different people appear in more than 1 million digital images and videos found at a Philadelphia home in the Olney section during a months-long investigation.
Seven women connected to home

Seven women have been linked to the house at 400 block of West Chew Avenue, including five named victims: Blair Tonzelli, Amy McHale, Maribel Fresses, Gabrielle Amarando, and Nicole Fusaro.
Five women appeared lifeless
Five of the seven women appeared to be injured, lifeless, and possibly dead in the recovered files, according to investigators. Two additional women in photos appeared unconscious or killed but have since been found alive.
Video shows alleged strangulation
Law enforcement has a video appearing to show Raymond Horsch, Eugene's father, strangling Nicole Fusaro with a zip tie after she was handcuffed to a bed. Deputy Commissioner Frank Vanore described the video in detail during a news conference.
“At some point during this, using a channel lock tool of some kind, he puts a zip tie around her neck and she becomes unconscious on that video.”
Ten overdose deaths elsewhere

Police know of 10 people who overdosed at a later time at different residences in Philadelphia, not at the Chew Street home. Another 16 people were found and interviewed, though they were not cooperative with police.
“They were found somewhere else, in a different residence, in a different place in Philadelphia, not at Chew Street.”
Suspect arrested in June 2026
Eugene Horsch, 44, was arrested in June on charges unrelated to the missing women. His father, Raymond Horsch, who died in 2025, has become a central figure in the case.
Chemicals may have destroyed evidence
A June search of the home found fake law enforcement credentials, drugs, a gun, and unknown chemicals. A special forensics lab in Chicago is processing the chemicals to identify them, as detectives explore if they were used to dispose of victims.
FBI 30 percent through review

The FBI is approximately 30 percent done reviewing the digital files. Authorities plan to return to the Chew Avenue home in late September with another search warrant.
“It's a very deliberate and methodical process that does take time.”
The bottom line
Nearly 60 people appear in digital files recovered from a Philadelphia home under investigation, including seven women connected to the case, with some appearing lifeless in photos and videos.
