ABC launches wordage quiz
ABC has released its first Wordage quiz, challenging players to sort words describing reactions in order of their age. The quiz focuses on words meaning something is good, bad or indifferent.
Four slang terms to rank
The quiz asks players to order cool, rad, meh and bogus by how old they are. One of these words is nearly five hundred years old.
How the quiz works
Players drag each word into a shaded box and hit Submit when ready. Each round allows three guesses, and there are always three rounds. A hint is available if players get stuck.
Sources for the quiz
The quiz draws on the Oxford English Dictionary, Etymonline, Merriam-Webster and Green's Dictionary of Slang to establish when each word entered English.

ABC offers other quizzes on its New Quiz topic page. Players can test themselves further and see if they are a whiz at previous quizzes.
