MDPCO charges Tinubu

The Makinde-Daura Presidential Campaign Organization under the Allied Peoples Movement platform demands President Bola Ahmed Tinubu immediately rescue prospective National Youth Service Corps members abducted in Imo state.

The campaign council also demands President Tinubu take decisive steps to secure the unconditional release and safe return of other Nigerians abducted in Niger, Kwara, Kaduna, Zamfara, Sokoto, Katsina, Borno and other parts of the country.

Ihediwa's statement

Richard Ihediwa, Director of Strategic Communications, said it is unpardonable that four days after the abduction of corps members and despite public outcry, President Tinubu has remained silent while abducted corps members languish in misery.

Constitutional duty

APM states Nigerians cannot afford leadership that ignores the constitutional duty to security and wellbeing of citizens as per Section 14 (2)(b) of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 Constitution.

Security crisis

Ihediwa said the APC administration has killed more than 600,000 innocent Nigerians by terrorist elements in the last three and half years, with countless others in captivity.

APM call to action

The MDPCO calls on President Tinubu to act now, deal decisively with insecurity and bring back abducted corps members and all other Nigerians held by abductors.

In short

APM urges President Tinubu to immediately rescue abducted NYSC members and secure the release of other Nigerians held by armed groups.
