Jet crashes into Florida highway

A Learjet 60 bound for the Bahamas from Austin nosedived into a multi-lane highway in Florida on Sunday, killing all nine people aboard.
Tech entrepreneur and family among victims

Adam Robinson, a Texas tech entrepreneur, his wife Helen Sharp, and their two children Emma, four, and Charlie, two, were all killed in the crash.
Robinson's career and legacy
Robinson founded RB2B and Retention.com and was CEO of Moltsets. He previously worked at Lehman Brothers and Barclays. Fellow entrepreneur Jesse Ouellette said Robinson helped him build his company.
“He could disagree with you about almost anything, and somehow you'd walk away liking him even more.”
Three others travelling with the family
Rachel Reed, Charmi Fehr and Anita Maria Cetina were also aboard. Reed and Fehr were described as full of joy and adventure. Cetina cared for Emma and Charlie with tenderness and devotion.
Pilot identified as Jeff Gregory

Jeff Gregory, fifty-five, was the pilot. He worked briefly for East Coast Jets in two thousand sixteen and two thousand seventeen, according to the company.
Copilot was twenty-year-old Nathalia Filgueiras

Nathalia Filgueiras, twenty, was the copilot. She earned her pilot's licence at seventeen while still a high school senior. Her mother confirmed she died in the crash.
“I like being different than everyone. Some people think that it's weird that I can fly planes, but I can't drive a car.”
Investigation underway into crash causes
The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating whether ice and turbulence contributed to the crash, and whether human error played a role in the accident.
