Warren's unification plan for 2027

Promoter Frank Warren wants to stage heavyweight world-title unification fights in 2027 and hopes to bring former undisputed champion Oleksandr Usyk back into the mix.

“The plan is to make the unification fights happen and try to get Usyk back in it.”

Four titles held by different champions

The heavyweight division's four major titles are now held by different champions. Warren promotes three of them, including Daniel Dubois, who defends his WBO belt against Fabio Wardley in London on Saturday.

Fury-Joshua bout for WBA super title

The WBA super heavyweight championship will be at stake when Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua meet in Cardiff on December eleventh, Warren said. The sanctioning body has yet to publicly confirm this arrangement.

Usyk vacated after undisputed reign

Usyk became the first undisputed heavyweight champion of the four-belt era when he beat Fury in May twenty twenty-four.

Itauma rebuilding after first defeat

British heavyweight Moses Itauma will return to the ring in January after his first professional defeat in August to Croatia's Hrgovic. The twenty-one-year-old wants twenty twenty-seven to be the year he wins a world title.
