antigravity launches follow me bundle
antigravity introduced a follow me bundle for its a1 drone that swaps fpv goggles and motion controller for a wristwatch remote and finger ring.
follow me bundle price options
the bundle sells as a $799 full kit with the a1 drone or a $340 accessory kit for existing owners with a 20 percent discount.
price breakdown for follow me bundle
the follow me bundle costs $799 in the us, €719 in europe, with a standalone remote controller at €75.
propeller guards and c0 classification
propeller guards push takeoff weight above 300 grams, removing the a1's c0 classification.
follow me kit features
the watch and ring enable hands-free tracking, gesture controls for steering, and pre-programmed flight paths with live feed on the watch screen.
gesture control mechanics
gesture control works by pointing at the drone and moving the hand left, right, up or down to steer the aircraft.
a1 drone's original limitations
the a1 drone previously required fpv goggles and motion controller, limiting entry cost and outdoor use due to visual line-of-sight rules.
price comparison with competitors
antigravity positions the a1 against hoverair's tracking-focused drones and skydio's consumer drones before their industrial shift.
trade-offs for buyers
the watch hardware is bulky, the ring's strap is delicate, and gesture controls cannot move the drone through all three dimensions at once.
