Drake teases FOMO with a not so short film
A 25-second neon-green speedboat trailer, a Sept. 15 livestream, and a question about the two versions of your life.
In brief
A 25-second neon-green speedboat trailer, a Sept. 15 livestream, and a question about the two versions of your life. Drake's Fear of Missing Out lands Sept. 15 on a YouTube livestream, and the teasers point at something bigger than a single. Originally reported by Billboard.
Another FOMO teaser drops
On Saturday, Sept. 12, Drake posted a 25-second video for his mystery project Fear of Missing Out, captioned simply as a not so short film.

Scored by the family
The Instagram caption credits the score to "the family" and stamps a Sept. 15 release date on whatever this turns out to be.

A speedboat and a skyline
The clip shows a neon green speedboat cutting across open water with a city behind it, Drake apparently at the wheel.
Two versions of your life
A female narrator lays out the premise: one life where you dodge risk and hold back love, and another where you find what you were looking for.
“In one, you avoid risk and withhold love. You feel like you've gone missing from yourself.”
Fans are still guessing
Drake announced a YouTube livestream for Sept. 15 at 9 p.m. ET in early September. Theories range from new music to a video to a tour.
He is on a record run
In May he became the first artist to hold the Billboard 200's top three spots at once. ICEMAN gave him a 15th No. 1 album, passing Jay-Z among rappers.
The one thing
Drake's Fear of Missing Out lands Sept. 15 on a YouTube livestream, and the teasers point at something bigger than a single.
