Ella Langley's 'Dandelion' takes back No. 1

A third trip to the top of the Billboard 200, with the smallest winning total in over a year.

In brief

A third trip to the top of the Billboard 200, with the smallest winning total in over a year. Dandelion is winning on staying power, not big weeks: 67,000 units was enough to retake No. 1 because the chart's top tier is soft right now. Originally reported by Billboard.

Back on top, again

Ella Langley

Ella Langley's Dandelion climbs two spots to No. 1 on the Sept. 19 Billboard 200, its third nonconsecutive week at the summit.

A very small No. 1

The album earned 67,000 equivalent album units in the week ending Sept. 10, down less than 1%. That's the smallest No. 1 total since SZA's SOS won a week with 52,000 in May 2025.

It never left the top five

Dandelion debuted at No. 1 on the April 25, 2026 chart, held the crown for two weeks, and has not fallen out of the top five since.

Streams carry it, sales spike

Streaming made up 57,000 of the 67,000 units, from 60.21 million on-demand plays. Pure album sales jumped 43% to 9,000, pushing it 21-11 on Top Album Sales.

Two ex-champions right behind

Olivia Rodrigo's you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love moves 4-2 with 64,000 units, and Morgan Wallen's I'm the Problem rises 5-3 with 60,000.

ADÉLA arrives at No. 4

The 22-year-old Slovakian singer's debut album PRIMA opens with 56,000 units, 31,000 of them physical and digital sales, enough for No. 1 on Top Album Sales.

Variants built that debut

PRIMA shipped in six vinyl versions, four CDs, three download editions and a cassette, several of them signed. A Dream Academy castoff turned Capitol signing now has a top-five album.

Beyoncé's B'Day comes back

A 20th anniversary reissue returns the 2006 album to the chart at No. 8, its first appearance since 2008, with 38,000 units, up 385%.

The rest of the ten

Noah Kahan's The Great Divide is No. 5, Ariana Grande's petal jumps 15-6 on a deluxe edition, Rod Wave's week-old No. 1 drops 57% to No. 7, and Drake and Olivia Dean close it out.

The big picture

Dandelion is winning on staying power, not big weeks: 67,000 units was enough to retake No. 1 because the chart's top tier is soft right now.
