Icehouse will mark four decades of Man of Colours with a 2027 Australian run, their first indoor headline tour in more than 20 years.

The whole album, finally

Across June and July, Iva Davies and the band play the 1987 record front to back for the first time, including tracks they have never performed on stage.

“We've never played some of the songs from the album, so this tour is going to include some firsts for us as well as our fans.”

Why indoors matters

Davies says the seated arena format is a deliberate break from the big outdoor festival shows the band has leaned on for 15 years.

“Indoors means we get to play more songs and create an even bigger show for us all.”

Six dates, six cities

Six dates, six cities

The run opens June 5 at Newcastle Entertainment Centre, then hits Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth, wrapping July 10 at RAC Arena.

Tickets and the hits

Fan club and PayPal presales start Sept. 16, general sale Sept. 18 at 11 a.m. local via TEG Live. Expect "Great Southern Land," "Hey Little Girl" and "Love in Motion" too.

The peak of the band

Man of Colours spent 11 weeks at No. 1 in Australia, topped New Zealand, sold over a million copies and won 1988 ARIA awards for Album of the Year.

Their American moment

"Electric Blue," co-written with John Oates, hit No. 7 on the Hot 100, the band's highest-charting US single, while "Crazy" reached No. 14.
