Classics get new voices
The album recasts Fernandez hits with Sinaloan banda instead of mariachi, then pairs his voice with regional Mexican artists.
Ten duets anchor it

Julio Preciado appears on Las Llaves de Mi Alma, Ana Barbara joins Hermoso Carino, and Joan Sebastian is featured on El Ultimo Barco.
A newer generation joins
Banda MS, Edwin Luna, Victor Garcia, Joss Favela and Lenin Ramirez also appear, with Ramirez leading the focus track Cruz de Olvido.
“For me, it’s a great honor and privilege to be part of this”
The family shaped it
Executive producer Vicente Fernandez Jr. said the collaborations were chosen to help his father’s music keep reaching listeners over time.
“my father’s musical legacy continues to transcend time”
El Rey still leads
Fernandez released more than 70 albums, acted in over 30 films, and still draws 15 million monthly Spotify listeners. His El Rey tops Billboard’s mariachi list.
