Swift's deluxe album hits the milestone
Taylor Swift's deluxe edition of her twelfth album added four new songs, including Patient Zero, which debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot one hundred.
The album's third number one song
Patient Zero became the album's third song to reach the chart's summit, following The Fate of Ophelia and Opalite on the same record.
A rare achievement in music history
Since Billboard launched the Hot one hundred in nineteen fifty eight as the definitive all genre singles chart in the US, only thirty three albums have spawned three or more number one hits.
Katy Perry holds the all time record
Katy Perry's Teenage Dream holds the all time record with six number one songs, followed by Michael Jackson's Bad with five.
The group is getting more exclusive
Only twelve of the thirty three qualifying albums were released in the twenty first century, showing the achievement is becoming rarer over time.
Swift's first female album in a decade
The Life of a Showgirl is the first female album to achieve the feat in over a decade, since Swift's own nineteen eighty nine in twenty fourteen.
The Beatles dominated early chart history
The Beatles appear four times on the list with Help in nineteen sixty five, Magical Mystery Tour in nineteen sixty seven, and Let It Be in nineteen seventy.
Whitney Houston's dual achievement
Whitney Houston is the only artist with two separate albums on the list: her self titled debut in nineteen eighty five and Whitney in nineteen eighty seven.
Mariah Carey and Rihanna also appear twice
Mariah Carey's Mariah Carey from nineteen ninety and Daydream from nineteen ninety five both qualified, as did Rihanna's Good Girl Gone Bad and Loud.
Recent albums from Drake and The Weeknd
Drake's Scorpion from twenty eighteen produced God's Plan, Nice for What, and In My Feelings. The Weeknd's After Hours from twenty twenty had Heartless, Blinding Lights, and Save Your Tears.
The complete list spans six decades
The thirty three albums range from The Supremes' Where Did Our Love Go in nineteen sixty four to Taylor Swift's The Life of a Showgirl in twenty twenty five.
The main idea
Taylor Swift's deluxe album 'The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore' became only the thirty third album in history to produce three or more number one songs on the Billboard Hot one hundred since nineteen fifty eight.
