Tarantino's Final Film Script Complete
Tarantino confirmed he has finished a screenplay he is very happy with for his tenth feature film.
“I’ve written a script that I really like, but I want to do the play and see who I am; then I’ll then go back and spend time with my family and live a little and then see what I want to do”
Focus on Play First
Tarantino plans to prioritize his new play The Popinjay Cavalier before revisiting the script for his final film.
Play Details
The Popinjay Cavalier stars Sacha Baron Cohen in a 1830s swashbuckling comedy set in London's West End.
Previous Film Project Abandoned
Tarantino previously abandoned his 10th film project The Movie Critic during pre-production in 2024.
Why Pause Production
Tarantino wants to ensure the script offers a meaningful challenge before returning to it after a break.
“I wasn’t really excited about dramatizing what I wrote when I was in pre-production, partly because I’m using the skillset that I learned from Once Upon a Time in Hollywood”
Next Steps for Final Film
Tarantino will revisit the script after completing his play and spending time with family before deciding on production.
