Seven missing women linked to one home
Philadelphia police are investigating an Olney neighborhood house connected to at least seven missing women, five of whom are presumed dead. The investigation centers on a father-son duo who lived there.
Eugene Horsch arrested in June
A park ranger spotted 44-year-old Eugene Horsch illegally parked near Independence National Historical Park with a woman carrying documents of missing person Blair Tonzelli. Police found guns, drugs, and forged DEA credentials in his car.
Hidden laboratory and chemicals found
Searches of the Olney home revealed hidden spaces with dangerous chemicals, a 55-gallon drum with hoses, a small marijuana operation, and 120 pieces of ballistic evidence.
Over 1 million disturbing images recovered
Police found over one million digital images in the home showing multiple women in various positions. Investigators identified 58 people in the images, with 16 found alive but not cooperating and 25 more scheduled for interviews.
“tons of pictures of lots of people, women, posed in different positions within that house”
Five women appear injured or dead
Videos recovered from the home show five women appearing injured, with at least one appearing dead. Police believe they know the identities of four of these women, though no bodies have been confirmed.
Named victims span over a decade
Five identified missing women are Gabrielle Amarando (missing since 2012), Maribel Fresses, Nicole Fusaro, Amy McHale (missing since 2016), and Blair Tonzelli. McHale left her daughter a voicemail saying she was at the Olney home.
Five urns found, remains unconfirmed
Police discovered five urns believed to contain human remains, including what they think are the remains of R.C. Horsch and his sister. As of Wednesday, no human remains have been confirmed at the house.
