Cramer's oversold market advice: do nothing
Oil over $103, yields at 5%, AI stocks sliding, and Cramer's move is to keep his hands still.
In brief
Oil over $103, yields at 5%, AI stocks sliding, and Cramer's move is to keep his hands still. When too many variables are moving at once, waiting is a position. Set the prices you'd buy at, then let the dust settle. Originally reported by CNBC.
Three shocks, one Monday

The S&P 500 fell after Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei's weekend essay called for slowing AI development. Oil pushed past $103, and the 10-year Treasury yield touched 5% for the first time since 2023.
The AI trade cracked

Club holdings tied to data center buildout all dropped: Intel, Micron, Eaton, GE Vernova. Broadcom and Nvidia fell too.
Sitting on your hands

Cramer emailed portfolio director Jeff Marks that with oil surging and AI stocks losing steam, there's no good action to take. It's the same advice he gives in every oversold market.
“sitting on your hands”
A shopping list, not a buy
Cramer isn't adding to Intel or Micron yet, but Monday's slide puts both on the list. He named the level he'd want.
“There is no reason they couldn't be down 10%, which is the level we [would] entertain buying”
Inference keeps the lights on
Marks pushed back that plenty is still unclear. Even if model training slows, running AI day to day still eats cloud compute, which may be why the hyperscaler names are holding up.
Cyber pops, nobody chases

Amodei's slowdown call sent CrowdStrike up over 14% and Palo Alto Networks over 12%, since AI creates new vulnerabilities. The Club still won't buy a parabolic move.
“I don't know if I would buy on a move like this”
In short
When too many variables are moving at once, waiting is a position. Set the prices you'd buy at, then let the dust settle.
