Scaramucci predicts Trump defeat
Former White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci told CNBC that President Donald Trump will get trounced in Tuesday's midterm elections and knows it.
“I think the president's going to get trounced, by the way, and I think he knows he's going to get trounced.”
Trump's economic approval hits low
Trump's economic approval rating hit an all-time low last month, with sixty-five percent of respondents disapproving of his handling of the economy.
Broken promises fuel discontent

Trump promised affordability, no more forever wars, and transparency on the Epstein files but delivered on none of them, Scaramucci said, causing people inside MAGA to break from him.
“He promised affordability, he promised no more forever wars, he promised transparency on the Epstein files. He didn't deliver on any of that stuff.”
Democrats favored to win Senate
Prediction markets are pricing in around a three-in-four chance of the Democrats winning control of the Senate in Tuesday's election.
Republican civil war looms
If Trump loses, the Republican party will face a great intellectual civil war over its identity and direction, no longer the party of Ronald Reagan or George W. Bush.
“The Republicans are going to have to reconcile where do they want to go.”
MAGA DNA persists through 2028
Elements of MAGA will remain in the next Republican presidential candidate because Trump's PAC money will loom large, preventing candidates from distancing themselves too far from him.
“There will be DNA elements of MAGA in the next presidential candidate for sure, because looming large over that presidential candidate will be Donald Trump and several hundred million dollars of his PAC money.”
Scaramucci bearish on Iran peace
Scaramucci said he sees no alignment between Iranians, Israelis, and Americans for a negotiated solution on Iran, and military strikes will not help the region.
“I don't see any alignment between the Iranians, the Israelis, and the Americans for a potential negotiated solution right now.”
The short version
Anthony Scaramucci predicts Trump will lose Tuesday's midterms badly due to low economic approval ratings and broken campaign promises, triggering a Republican civil war.
