Fans packed the venue near SoFi Stadium to watch the Rams and 49ers open the season in Melbourne, Australia, the first NFL game ever played there.
A flying leap on video
Instagram footage posted Friday shows a shirtless Rams fan launching himself over a row of seats and landing on a 49ers fan in a white T-shirt.
Who started it
The person who filmed it blamed the man in the white shirt, saying he was trading insults and got asked to stop about four times before anything happened.
“The guy with the white T-shirt is the one who started the whole argument.”
Food and tables flying
The shirtless fan kept swinging while the other man lay on the ground. The clip ends before anyone breaks it up, so injuries and police response are unknown.
