A late night call
Around 10:30 p.m. Friday, Los Angeles Sheriff's deputies were sent to Kamala Harris' $8 million Malibu estate after a report of an unidentified woman on the property.
Dropped off by Uber
The woman arrived by Uber and approached security at the gated home. Told she could not stay, she left, then returned, which triggered the call to police.
No arrest, no charges
Deputies took a report at the scene. The woman never got inside the house and left voluntarily when asked. She was not arrested or cited, and her reason for being there is still unknown.
Nobody was home
Harris and Doug Emhoff were away. Her spokesperson said security stopped the individual before she reached the house, and thanked the responders.

Deputies will watch the block
Lt. Jason Duron of the Malibu/Lost Hills station said patrols around the property are being increased.
“We're gonna keep an eye on the location. I'm directing my deputies to keep an eye on it”
No Secret Service detail
Trump revoked Harris' protection in August of last year, after Biden had extended it past the usual six months for former VPs. She bought the four-bedroom house in January for $8.15 million.
