2027 BMW iX4 Launch
The 2027 BMW iX4 is the electric successor to the discontinued X4 with a sloped roof design.
Two Trims Available
The iX4 comes in 50 xDrive and M60 xDrive trims with the latter generating 603 horsepower and 645 pound-feet of torque.
Price and Release Date
The base 50 xDrive starts at $67,695 and will arrive in March 2027, with the M60 xDrive following later.
Performance Specs
The 50 xDrive can reach 60 mph in 4.7 seconds with a top speed of 130 mph, while the M60 accelerates to 62 mph in 3.9 seconds and hits 149 mph.
Charging and Range
Both models use an 800-volt system for up to 400 kW charging, adding 184 miles of range in 10 minutes, with the 112-kWh battery offering 428 miles of range.
Design Features
The iX4 features a sloped roof, long wheelbase, and short overhangs for an athletic yet stately appearance, with the M60 adding sportier interior elements.
