Submit your photos here
First Thing subscribers can now send their own pictures for the Picture of the Day section. A submission link appears in the newsletter when you are subscribed.
How to format your shots
Orient your camera horizontally in landscape format and send the highest resolution photo possible. These guidelines help Daily Maverick publish your fantastic photos.
Weekly limit and persistence
Daily Maverick limits weekly entries to a maximum of twenty. If your picture is not published, keep sending them in.
All subjects welcome
First Thing's John Stupart is very much a dog person, but the publication encourages all pictures. Amateur and professional photographers are both welcome.
