A fifteen-year-old former pupil killed one person and injured two others at a Polish school on Thursday, police said, just a day after a nineteen-year-old wounded ten people at another school.
Leszczydol-Nowiny attack details
The fifteen-year-old entered a school in Leszczydol-Nowiny, in Wyszkow County northeast of Warsaw, at around nine a.m. and wounded three staff members with a sharp object. The principal apprehended the attacker.
One killed, separate plot foiled
Despite resuscitation efforts, a thirty-seven-year-old school employee could not be saved. Interior minister Marcin Kierwinski said police detained a seventeen-year-old in Sierpc planning an attack, finding two knives in his backpack.
