Two Afghan migrants followed a 14-year-old schoolgirl onto a train before sexually assaulting and raping her in the toilets, court told.

Alleged Assault Details

Baryalai Rahimi, 25, and Mirebadurahman Sadat, 29, allegedly ignored the vulnerable teenager's repeated pleas as they abused her on a mid-afternoon Southeastern service travelling from Kent to London Bridge on February 5.

Charges

Rahimi and Sadat deny a total of 20 charges including multiple counts of sexual activity with a child.

Court Appearance

The pair appeared at Inner London Crown Court on Monday wearing green prison-issue jumpers, aided by Dari and Farsi interpreters.

Assault Sequence

Rahimi took the girl into the toilet and raped her, followed by repeated assaults by both men.

Victim's Account

The girl later told police: 'I was scared of him, he was in control of me.'

She will tell you she had said no, that she had not consented to, and did not want the things that happened to her on the train.

Rahimi's Claim

Rahimi claimed: 'I asked the female her age and she told me she was 17 years old. She looked 17-18 years old, so I believed her.'
