A second wedding in Spain

Emily Atack married Dr Alistair Garner again, this time in the whitewashed village of Mojacar, months after the couple first tied the knot.
A 16th century courtyard
The ceremony took place in the courtyard of a 16th century church, with 197 friends and family packed in to watch.
Their toddler at the wheel

After the vows, the couple posed in a parked red convertible Cadillac with their two-year-old son Barney sitting behind the steering wheel.
The apology to the village

Before climbing into the car, Atack, 36, turned to the locals watching from the street and acknowledged the scale of it all.
“This is all a bit over the top isn't it?”
Why Mojacar

Her pop star father Keith Atack, 67, owned a home in the town for decades until 2018. She has kept coming back every summer since.
Two restaurants taken over
The newlyweds rented out two neighbouring restaurants in the historic centre for the celebration.
Locals turned away
Security stopped residents from walking through their own streets, and the frustration was visible on the day.
The Dua Lipa echo
It follows Dua Lipa's May wedding to Callum Turner in Sicily, where blocking off streets in the capital drew heavy criticism.
Palermo is not for sale
Residents there answered with graffiti on the walls of the ancient city, a warning about what these takeovers cost a place.
“Palermo is not for sale”
Rose petals and Champagne
Atack and Garner walked out through a shower of rose petals, then led the Champagne toast and worked the crowd of guests.
Three courses down the steps
Guests moved down the church steps to a three-course meal, starting with a choice of cod risotto or mandarin sorbet.
Suckling pig and mango mousse
Main was shredded suckling pig with pumpkin compote and roasted apples. Dessert was mango mousse with nougat ice cream and raspberry coulis.
Love in eleven languages
Every table was named after the word for love in a different language, from Scottish Gaelic and Swahili to Hawaiian, Korean and Fijian.
David Tennant leads the cast
The Rivals star fronted the guest list alongside castmates Alex Hassell, Rufus Jones, Bella Maclean and Victoria Smurfit.
The writers came too
Rivals writer Dominic Treadwell-Collins attended with lead producer Felicity Tucci and her husband, Devil Wears Prada actor Stanley Tucci.
Who did not show
Aidan Turner and Danny Dyer were absent. Atack's ITV gameshow with Dyer, Nobody's Fool, was dropped after one season.
No Inbetweeners in the room
Not one of her Inbetweeners castmates was there, a gap that reads loudly given the franchise made her name.
The role she may not get back
A third Inbetweeners film was announced last week, with no word on whether Atack returns as Emily Hinchcliff.
The reunion she lost
She was reportedly cut from the 10th-anniversary special on the eve of filming, after James Buckley allegedly issued an it's her or me ultimatum over fears about an alleged off-screen romance.
Comedians and oysters
Keith Lemon and Katherine Ryan were in the crowd, Ryan helping herself to pre-ceremony oysters with husband Bobby Kootstra. Iain Stirling came with wife Laura Whitmore.
The takeaway
Celebrity weddings in small towns buy the whole place for a day, and locals notice the bill even when the bride says sorry.
