Oasis book 38 more nights, and Knebworth again
The Gallaghers turn a one-off reunion into a world tour, with 11 Manchester nights, fixed ticket prices and a Knebworth homecoming.
In brief
The Gallaghers turn a one-off reunion into a world tour, with 11 Manchester nights, fixed ticket prices and a Knebworth homecoming. The reunion was not a victory lap. Oasis are now a working band again, and this time the ticket prices are fixed before the scramble starts. Originally reported by Dailymail.
Oasis are touring again

On Monday the band confirmed 38 new shows for 2027, across the UK, mainland Europe, the USA and Ireland. It is a full tour, not a handful of victory-lap dates.
Built on the 2025 comeback

Liam and Noel had not played together since 2009. The Oasis Live '25 run ended a 15-year silence, and it went well enough that they are doing it again.
Eleven nights in Manchester
The Etihad Stadium gets the biggest block of the tour, eleven dates across June 2027, starting on the 4th and running to the 26th. Home city, longest residency.
Knebworth, thirty-one years on

Four nights at Knebworth next September, on the 11th, 12th, 18th and 19th. It is the site of their 1996 shows, when a ticket cost £22.50.
Glasgow gets five
The tour opens at Celtic Park with five nights in May 2027, on the 21st, 23rd, 25th, 28th and 29th. Scotland goes first, before Manchester.
Europe in July
Two nights each in Munich, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Paris and Rome, hitting the Allianz Arena, Stade de France and Stadio Olimpico across a single month.
America and Ireland
August brings three nights in Boston at Gillette Stadium and three in Las Vegas at Allegiant. September opens with two shows at Slane Castle in Ireland.
The announcement was a taunt
The band posted a statement on X twisting critic Simon Price's line about them, declaring itself fit for purpose and back to lift the spirits of the people.
“'Come witness the fitness. It shall be a sight to behold.'”
Register by 17 September
Fans have to register by 4pm BST on 17 September. Those who get through receive a code that unlocks access to buy, so there is a gate before the sale itself.
No dynamic pricing
The surge pricing that caused uproar on the first tour is gone. Many fans ended up paying far more than they expected, and the band has dropped the mechanism.
Prices fixed at £71 to £266
Standard tickets sit in that band and will not move as demand climbs. Publishing the range on announcement day is the point, fans know the number before they queue.
Drones over Manchester

A week before the news, the band's logo appeared in lights above the city alongside the date 14/09/26 and the time 4pm BST. The reveal was scheduled in public.
Clues hidden in posters

Two clips dropped on Instagram at the start of September. A boy in a blue raincoat bounced a football seven times while his friend chalked eleven strikes on a wall.
Fans cracked the code
Followers read the blue moon above the door as eleven nights at the Etihad, and spotted Knebworth shirts hanging on a washing line in the background.
“'Blue Moon above the door. 11 nights at Etihad'”
Coordinates and radio stations

Numbers on one poster turned out to be the map coordinates of Celtic Park. SOL FM was shorthand for Stadio Olimpico in Rome. Both cities made the final list.
How it fell apart in 2009
Noel walked out after a backstage row with Liam at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris, then issued a statement about intolerable intimidation and sought pastures new.
“'I simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer.'”
The 2024 stampede

When the reunion was announced in August 2024, an original run of 14 UK and Ireland shows had to be extended again and again as millions chased tickets.
A film about the feud
Oasis: Don't Look Back In Anger premiered at Venice and reached cinemas last Wednesday. It covers the split, the reconciliation and the brothers' first joint interview in over 20 years.
Promoters withheld the money
Filmmakers say the brothers were barely speaking when shooting began and travelled separately. Promoters paid them only after all 41 dates were done, given the history.
Their kids met again
The relationship thawed as the tour went on, and their children saw each other for the first time in years. That repair, more than the demand, is why 2027 exists.
“'What a movie! 10/10!'”
In short
The reunion was not a victory lap. Oasis are now a working band again, and this time the ticket prices are fixed before the scramble starts.
