Witness at Roswell 1947
A military officer, whose name was redacted, claimed he was present at the Roswell UFO incident in 1947 and saw the spacecraft in a guarded hangar known as Building 84.

Roswell incident details
The military initially claimed a 'flying disc' was recovered before changing their story to say it came from a weather balloon after the July 8, 1947 incident.

The witness described the craft as 12 to 15 feet long, six feet wide with a metallic surface that had no windows, wings, tail or landing gear.

The bodies were placed under a canvas tarpaulin with heads larger than normal and approximately the size of a ten-year-old child, standing about four feet tall.

A staff meeting on July 8, 1947, revealed an extensive debris field in Lincoln County about 75 miles northwest of Roswell and a more important site 40 miles north with the craft and bodies.

Around 9.30am on July 8, 1947, the witness was ordered to write a press release dictated by Colonel William Blanchard, the Roswell base commander.

From a distance, the witness saw bodies under a canvas tarpaulin with heads larger than normal and the size of a ten-year-old child, but could not make out any features.
“'From a distance, I was able to see a couple of bodies under a canvas tarpaulin. Only the heads extended beyond the covering, and I was not able to make out any features,' Haut stated.”

A temporary morgue was constructed at Roswell to store the bodies, but the declassified file did not reveal what happened to the alleged alien remains after Haut visited Building 84.
