Dream Bowl returns to Arlington

Dream Bowl XV, a college football all-star showcase for overlooked players, is coming back to AT&T Stadium on January 17, 2027. The event will feature draft-eligible players from multiple NCAA divisions and NAIA programs.

New Bowl Combine expands opportunities

For the first time, Dream Bowl XV will feature a Bowl Combine allowing two additional eligible athletes to compete for roster spots. The selected players will also receive playing time in the game.

“The Dream Bowl is still about one thing: putting players on a stage worthy of the work they have already put in.”

Founded to help small-college players

Dream Bowl founder Neil Malvone created the event in 2012 to give small-college football players a chance to showcase their abilities in front of professional scouts. The first Dream Bowl was held in 2013.

Connected to MLK Jr. weekend

Dream Bowl traditionally takes place around Martin Luther King Jr. weekend to connect the football event with themes of family, civic engagement and King's legacy. January 17, 2027 is one day before the federal MLK Jr. holiday.

Four-day football weekend planned

Dream Bowl XV will include a four-day college football weekend with practices, professional scouting sessions, the Bowl Combine and the game. Lobo Stadium in Little Elm will serve as the practice facility.

Scouting database tracks thousands

Dream Bowl's scouting operation evaluates thousands of players from college programs across the country. Its database contains more than 4,000 players, with previous participants going on to opportunities in the NFL, Canadian Football League and United Football League.

Technology partner records performance

Datavault AI, an official sponsor and technology partner, will use digital platforms to authenticate and record athlete credentials and combine performance results. The technology gives participating athletes a verifiable record of their performance.

ESPN broadcast planned

Dream Bowl XV is planned for a national broadcast on ESPN, though final broadcast details have not yet been announced. The event will be one of several major sporting events at AT&T Stadium in early 2027.

AT&T Stadium hosts diverse events

AT&T Stadium continues to host major sporting events including the Big 12 Football Championship, College Football Playoff quarterfinal and Cowboys games. The venue hosted nine FIFA World Cup matches in summer 2026, including a semifinal.

More details coming soon

Organizers say ticket information, complete rosters, combine eligibility requirements and final broadcast details will be released as they are confirmed. Plans for the combine and roster selections remain subject to change.
