SWAT standoff ends with arrest
Cameron Theus, 27, was arrested Tuesday after a police standoff at a Frisco home on Stevens Point Drive. He was charged with making a terroristic threat.
Suspect had multiple arrests this year
Theus was arrested three times in 2026. In August, he followed a woman to a middle school, screamed, and damaged vehicles. He was also arrested in February on assault charges.
Residents fear crime is rising

Kevin Raper, a 22-year resident, said Grayhawk was traditionally safe but expressed concern that unresolved incidents could escalate. The standoff has renewed worries about neighborhood safety.
“Frisco's a pretty safe area, so you don't expect that sort of thing.”
Unsolved stabbing adds to concerns
A teenager was stabbed by an unknown suspect in summer 2025 while walking his dog. Frisco police have not provided a public update on the investigation.
No connection between incidents
The stabbing and the recent SWAT standoff are separate incidents with no indication they are connected. Theus remains in custody as his case proceeds.
