Modder creates crossover

A new PC mod called ArkWeb lets players web-swing through Batman: Arkham Knight’s Gotham as Spider-Man by running both games at once on one PC.
How ArkWeb works
The open-source project uses Spider-Man’s swinging, wall running and point launches while pulling Gotham’s collision data from Arkham Knight.
Spider-Man’s view
Spider-Man Remastered runs hidden while Arkham Knight stays on screen, with a script scanning Gotham in tiles to feed buildings into Spider-Man’s physics.
Gotham’s physics

Buildings appear about 2km above New York so Spider-Man can’t invisible ledges, and Spider-Man is drawn into Arkham’s view where Batman moves invisibly.
Combat system
Combat uses Arkham Knight’s fighting system with Spider-Man copying Batman’s poses each frame.
Creator’s notes
The creator describes the project as experimental, noting Gotham’s collision can be hollow, swinging too fast can leave gaps, and Spider-Man can look dark due to New York’s time of day.
