Instax Pal 2 preorders open now

Fujifilm's new tiny camera is available to preorder in the US from Adorama and B&H for $169.95, and in the UK from Amazon, Jessops, and Park Cameras for £144.99. Shipping starts in late September.

Not a traditional instant camera

The Pal 2 is a digital camera, not film-based. Photos transfer to your phone or connect to Fujifilm's Instax printers for physical prints in Mini, Square, or Wide formats.

Compact design with real camera features

The Pal 2 includes a built-in optical viewfinder, 1-inch LCD screen, 28mm-equivalent f/2.2 lens, and 1/3.06-inch CMOS sensor. It feels much more like an actual camera than the original Pal.

Flexible shooting modes for fun

Choose between 10MP or deliberately lo-fi 1MP shooting. Single autofocus and face detection make it easy to use, and it focuses from around 80mm for close-up shots.

Creative filters and animation mode

Five filter themes with six effects each let you customize your look. New Animation mode captures up to 10 consecutive images and turns them into flipbook-style animations.

Storage and connectivity

The camera holds around 100 photos internally. MicroSD, microSDHC, and microSDXC cards are supported for additional storage. Transfer images via the Instax Pal app.

Philosophy over technical specs

The Pal 2 doesn't compete with smartphones. It's a tiny camera you carry anywhere, point without overthinking, and enjoy making pictures again. Results stay digital, become animations, or print as Instax photos.

“the Pal 2 is a tiny camera you can carry almost anywhere, point at something without thinking too hard about it, and enjoy the process of making pictures again.”
