L-brackets solve a real problem
L-brackets let photographers swap between horizontal and vertical tripod shooting quickly. But most are built for one specific camera, limiting their usefulness.
Lexie QD expands for different cameras

3 Legged Thing's new Lexie QD has an adjustable base plate that expands to fit a variety of camera bodies without blocking port access.
Sliding screw prevents port blocking
A sliding screw lets you position the bracket forward or backward on your camera to keep the vertical piece from covering USB, HDMI, or other ports. A cutout also guides cables.
Quick-swap between tripod and strap
The Lexie QD includes a quick-disconnect socket that works with 3 Legged Thing's quick-swap straps, letting you switch from tripod to handheld shooting without removing the bracket.
Modular system for custom rigs

The bracket works with 3 Legged Thing's XPAND system, letting you add cheese plates, risers, and connectors. It also has two 1/4-inch threads for lights, mics, and monitors.
Available now for sixty dollars
The Lexie QD launched September 16 and ships from the manufacturer and retailers for about 60 dollars. An upgrade plate for older Lexie owners costs 30 dollars.
The main idea
The Lexie QD is the first universal L-bracket that expands for different cameras, prevents port blocking, and swaps between tripod and strap without removal.
