S9 needed a lens to match
The Panasonic Lumix S9 is a fashion-forward compact camera, but pairing it with a bulky lens ruins the aesthetic. Panasonic already offers the 18-40mm zoom and 40mm prime, now adding the 20mm to complete the lineup.

The new Lumix S 20mm f/2.5 measures just 69 by 41 millimeters and weighs only 142 grams. Its wide-angle perspective works for walkabout, street, travel, landscapes, cityscapes, and architectural interiors.
Built tough despite being light
The 20mm features dust, splash, and freeze-resistant construction with a weather-sealed metal mounting plate, not plastic. It matches the 40mm prime's design for consistent handling between the two lenses.

Despite its small size, the lens includes an AF/MF focus mode switch, customizable focus ring, and customizable function button. Both black and silver colorways are available.
