Apple opens music venue in London

Apple Music Hall opens at Battersea Power Station HQ with capacity for six hundred people in standing and seating configurations.
State-of-the-art recording technology

The venue has forty-eight speakers, sixteen camera locations and spatial audio with Dolby Atmos for live recording and worldwide streaming.
Design blends heritage and performance

The thirty-eight-foot-wide stage reconfigures for traditional or in-the-round shows. Interior design echoes Battersea Power Station's heritage brickwork and bronze balconies.
Multitrack recording and broadcast capability
Two dedicated studios capture performances in multitrack spatial audio. A broadcast control room supports iPhone and professional camera capture for live streaming.
Apple's vision for emerging artists
Oliver Schusser, Apple's VP of Apple Music, says smaller artists get state-of-the-art technology to record, broadcast worldwide and produce high-quality spatial audio in one session.
“You can come in, do an interview, get your photography and social media done, play a show, broadcast worldwide, and get a high-quality Spatial Audio recording out of it.”
