Bungie outlines Marathon's next phase
Following an October Nightfall refresh, Bungie has detailed upcoming content for its shooter Marathon, including updates in December and March.
December brings team deathmatch and PvE
The Symbiosis update in December will add a team deathmatch mode and a permanently available PvE mode where players can experiment with builds without player attacks.
Perimeter zone gets visual and gameplay overhaul
Bungie will redesign the Perimeter zone, the first area players see, with a new visual identity, gameplay encounters, and a boss called the Tick Queen.
New shell archetype and onboarding improvements
December's update adds the Bishop, a high-performance robot samurai shell archetype, and a social space with a firing range to help new players learn the game.
