BlackBerry-inspired phone ships soon

Clicks Communicator, a modern take on the classic BlackBerry, begins shipping in December after debuting at CES 2026. The device combines a physical keyboard with a 4.03-inch touchscreen.
Specs get bumped before launch
The final version ships with 12GB RAM instead of 8GB, and battery capacity increased from 4,000mAh to 4,350mAh. It runs Android 17 with support through Android 20 and five years of security updates.
Keyboard is touch-sensitive and smart
The physical keyboard surface lets you swipe to scroll and navigate. The spacebar doubles as a fingerprint sensor. Clicks offers layouts for English, French, German, Korean and Arabic.
“Its surface is touch-sensitive, so you can swipe across it to scroll and navigate.”
Designed as a second phone
Clicks positions the Communicator for messages and calls, not endless scrolling. It has a 50MP rear camera and 24MP front camera, a MediaTek Dimensity 8300 chip, and includes a 3.5mm headphone jack.
“a new kind of mobile communicator”
Price jumps $150 on October 1
Early reservations lock in the original $499 price, but the Communicator jumps to $649 starting October 1. That's a steep cost for a novelty-focused second phone.
