A classic gets a sequel
Logitech is updating the Blue Yeti USB microphone, originally launched in two thousand nine and still popular with podcasters and streamers. The Yeti 2 modernizes the design with new technology.
Automatic adjustments as you move
The Yeti 2 has a three D proximity sensor that tracks your voice in space, automatically adjusting gain, EQ and pickup patterns as you move. Automatic gain and tracking are enabled out of the box.
AI removes unwanted background noise
An onboard AI denoiser reduces unwanted background sounds like mouse clicks and keystrokes. This could make the microphone friendlier for people who do not want to turn microphone levels into a hobby.
Meet the Yeti mascot
The Yeti 2 has a one point three inch LED display showing a Yeti mascot that provides visual feedback on gain and directional patterns. Custom avatars will be available through Logitech's G Hub software.

The microphone has a redesigned three capsule array, twenty four bit forty eight kilohertz recording, several directional modes, a headphone jack for monitoring, a capacitive mute button, a physical control dial and five stored presets.
