All computing runs on a tethered puck with Qualcomm's Snapdragon Reality Elite chipset. The puck holds storage and battery, delivering up to three hours of continuous high-resolution media playback on a charge.

Gaming on Meta VR Glasses

At launch, seventy-five games playable with hand gestures will be available. The glasses run every Meta Quest game with Touch Plus controller support and can stream Xbox Cloud Gaming titles.

Productivity and video calls

Users can connect the glasses to a Windows PC or Mac and control them with a virtual keyboard and touchpad. The device supports holographic avatars for video calls on WhatsApp and Zoom.

Ray-Ban Meta Audio launches

Meta released audio-only Ray-Ban Meta Audio glasses with an AI voice assistant, music and podcast playback. They run for up to twelve hours on a charge, with the case adding up to forty-eight hours of use.

Sports and entertainment expansion
