Siri AI finally ships with iOS 27
Apple's rebuilt assistant lands in public releases across iPhone, Mac, iPad, Watch and Vision Pro.
In brief
Apple's rebuilt assistant lands in public releases across iPhone, Mac, iPad, Watch and Vision Pro. Siri AI is out of beta, but only on Apple Intelligence hardware, only in English at first, and not at all in the EU or China. Originally reported by Engadget.
The betas are over

Apple pushed public releases of iOS 27, macOS 27 Golden Gate, iPadOS 27, watchOS 27 and visionOS 27 on September 14, 2026. No beta profile needed anymore.
Siri finally knows you

The revamped assistant can pull personal info from your apps and read what's on screen to answer with context. It gets its own app, and Apple warns usage limits may apply.

English only for now
At launch Siri AI works only on devices set to English. French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese and Spanish arrive next month.
Blocked in the EU and China
Siri AI and anything depending on it are missing in the European Union at launch. In China, Apple says it is still working through regulatory requirements.

More than the assistant
Liquid Glass gets more customizable and readable, app launches are up to 30 percent faster, and iOS 27 adds AI photo editing, AirPods custom EQ, US bill splitting and one number across two iPhones.
Check your hardware first
iOS 27 installs on iPhone 11 and newer plus the 2nd and 3rd gen SE, but Siri AI needs Apple Intelligence: iPhone 15 Pro or later, M1 Macs and iPads, Vision Pro, Watch Series 9 or later.
What it means
