Tetris comes to Volkswagen cars
Tetris is now playable on 2027 Volkswagen vehicles through AirConsole, an in-vehicle entertainment platform developed by N-Dream and built into the infotainment system.
Twenty games launch with AirConsole
AirConsole launches with twenty games including Pac-Man Championship Edition and Uno Car Party. The platform is available on Atlas, Atlas Cross Sport, Tiguan, Golf GTI, Golf R and ID models.
Use your phone as a controller

Players use their smartphone as a wireless controller to play games on the car's display. Multiple devices can be used for multiplayer, though the exact number supported at launch is unclear.
Ambient lighting syncs with gameplay
Some games feature ambient lighting integration with certain vehicles that corresponds with in-game action. Volkswagen also created a custom Pac-Man version where power pellets become Volkswagen logos and fruit pickups become cars.
Premium subscription required after trial
AirConsole requires Volkswagen's In-Vehicle Premium service subscription. Most 2027 vehicles include three complimentary months, then cost one hundred forty-nine dollars per year to continue playing while parked.
