Fourteen stores in two months
Costco opens 10 new US locations and four in Canada across October and November 2026, with more sites already in the pipeline.
October's five US openings
Lee's Summit, Missouri. The Colony, Texas. Amherst, New York. Lawrence, Kansas. Camarillo, California.
Buffalo finally gets one
The Amherst store is the first Costco in the Buffalo metro. Until now the nearest one was 75 miles east in Rochester.
November adds five more
S. Meridian, Idaho. Vallejo, California. Chandler, Arizona. Newport News, Virginia. Franklin, Wisconsin.
Canada gets four
Canada already has over 100 warehouses and adds NE Edmonton and Lloydminster in Alberta, plus E Windsor and Wasaga Beach in Ontario.
The bigger growth target
Costco trimmed this year's target to 26 openings but still wants 30-plus net new warehouses a year. It runs 928 locations with 82.9 million paid members.
