Charged with child sex crimes
Reséndiz was charged with indecency with a child - sexual contact and child grooming on Monday, October 5.
Police investigation
Carrollton PD discovered evidence of an inappropriate relationship between Reséndiz and a juvenile student after being notified by a Hebron H.S. administrator.
Student communications
The student wrote in a note on their phone that the two had kissed in March 2026, and Reséndiz provided multiple gifts.
Video calls
Investigators observed Reséndiz and the student would 'sneak around' to hide their relationship, and made video calls on WhatsApp at least three or four times a day.
District action
Lewisville ISD placed Reséndiz on administrative leave and prohibited her from entering district facilities while on leave.
