Gunfire at 7:45 a.m.
Garland police got calls about a shooting in the 400 block of Bay Shore Drive on Sunday morning. Officers arrived within minutes.
Three people shot
Responding officers found three people outside a home with gunshot wounds. All three were hit before police arrived.

Two died at the scene
Two of the victims died where they were found. The third was rushed to a local hospital in critical condition.
Names not yet released
Police are holding the victims' identities until families have been notified.
Two vehicles tracked down
Investigators located two vehicles that had left the scene and detained the people inside for questioning.
