Jury selection starts Monday

Markies Conway, the Dallas rapper known as Yella Beezy, goes before a jury on a capital murder charge for allegedly orchestrating the 2020 killing of fellow rapper MO3.
An ambush on I-35

MO3, legally Melvin Noble Jr., was shot on Interstate 35 in Dallas in broad daylight in 2020. The killing happened on an open highway, in front of traffic.

The gunman is already guilty

Kewon White was convicted of capital murder earlier this month for pulling the trigger. His conviction sets the stage for the case against the man accused of hiring him.
A feud that turned lethal

Prosecutors say Conway paid White to kill MO3 over a long-running rivalry between the two rappers.

The defense wants more time

Conway's attorneys filed a motion to push back the trial. The judge is expected to rule on the delay request before jury selection gets underway.
