Luke Evans

Luke Evans credits working class background for his drive in life.

Valleys background

Growing up in The Valleys in South Wales without money made him aware nothing is delivered on a silver platter.

“I think if you are working class and you get the opportunity to do anything, you usually grab it with both hands and just go for it”

Opportunities gap

Working class Valleys folk feel hard done by with fewer opportunities than upper class in UK society.

“It's just a little bit more toxic now I'd say. You have working class Valleys folk like myself, and I think that there are a lot of people I know from my past who definitely feel hard done by”
