Cox Confirms Sega Game Role

Daredevil star Charlie Cox confirmed he is starring in an unannounced Sega video game at NYCC 2026.

“It's hard. It's a whole different job, man.”

40-Hour Voice Acting Commitment

Cox recorded 40 hours of lines for the game, speaking in an American accent he didn't prepare.

“I’m not sure what I’m allowed to say, but I showed up for it, and I met them for the first time, they asked me to do this game, and so I agreed to it. Then I had to do 40 hours or whatever it was, and I showed up for the first day, and I was like, ‘Hi guys, nice to meet you! How are you?’ And all of them went, ‘...oh, he’s English.’ They’d hoped, they’d wanted him to be American. But now I’ve got to do 40 hours of lines I’ve not prepared in an accent.”

The game has no official name and is not among Sega’s upcoming releases like Stranger Than Heaven or Persona 6.

Cox’s Previous Game Success

Cox previously played Gustave in Expedition 33, recording all lines in four hours and earning a Game Award nomination.

Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 is set to release in early 2027 after its showrunner exited the series.
