This Morning turns black and white
Viewers saw screens turn black and white during Monday's show as ITV hosted a guest with chromophobia.
Guest has rare colour phobia
Anto Shutigin, a 24-year-old from New York, has chromophobia and lives entirely in black and white.
Phobia started in high school

Anto said his chromophobia began around 9th grade after OCD tendencies and living in New York's overstimulating environment.
“I've had OCD tendencies my whole life. I'd say that around 9th grade of high school was when this manifested the most.”
Why black and white helps
Anto believes black and white reduces overstimulation, allowing better focus and productivity in his environment.
“Black and white definitely has a level of sameness and consistency that can be less overwhelming. Rather than a room with a bunch of colours.”
