Five people, no plane

Colombia's Civil Aviation Authority says a small aircraft carrying five people has gone missing in the northwest of the country.
Condoto to Bogotá
The plane left Mandinga Airport in Condoto, in the department of Chocó, headed for Guaymaral Airport on the edge of the capital.
Last heard at 9.23am
The final communication with the aircraft came in at 9.23am local time. Nothing after that.
A beacon near Cerro Tatama
An emergency locator beacon later switched on close to Cerro Tatama, about 33 nautical miles from the Pereira VOR navigation beacon.
The terrain fights back
Crews know roughly where to look. Getting there is the problem, and authorities say the difficult access is slowing the search down.
