Weather warning issued for three states
MetMalaysia has issued a warning for thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds across Penang, Sabah and Sarawak.
Penang affected until noon
The entire state of Penang will experience severe weather conditions until 12pm today.
Five Sarawak areas on alert
Limbang, Miri, Subis, Lundu and Kuching are under warning until 11am.
Sabah's west coast hit hardest
Penampang, Putatan, Papar, Tuaran, Ranau and Kota Kinabalu face thunderstorms until 11am.
Interior Sabah also affected
Membakut, Beaufort, Kuala Penyu, Tambunan, Keningau and Tenom are included in the weather alert.
