$250 off Samsung's best phones
While everyone watches the iPhone 18 launch, Amazon quietly cut $250 off the Galaxy S26 Ultra and the Z Fold 8.
In brief
While everyone watches the iPhone 18 launch, Amazon quietly cut $250 off the Galaxy S26 Ultra and the Z Fold 8. If you want flagship Android, the Galaxy S26 Ultra at $1,049.99 is close to a 20% discount on a phone that just launched. Originally reported by Mashable.
Two phones, $250 off
As of Sept. 11, Amazon has the unlocked Galaxy S26 Ultra (256GB) at $1,049.99 and the Galaxy Z Fold 8 (256GB) at $1,649.99. Both are $250 below list.
Not everyone is an iPhone person
The tech world is fixated on the iPhone Duo, 18 Pro, and 18 Pro Max. Android buyers get to shop in the quiet while attention is elsewhere.
“Android folks can quietly snag a new Samsung Galaxy phone for less.”
The Ultra drops to $1,049.99
The base S26 Ultra with 256GB of storage falls from $1,299.99 to $1,049.99. It ships unlocked, so you are not tied to a carrier deal.
A foldable answer to the Duo
Want the folding form factor without waiting on Apple? The Galaxy Z Fold 8 with 256GB is $1,649.99 instead of $1,899.99, the same $250 cut.
Built to beat the 18 Pro Max
The S26 Ultra is Samsung's flagship: a 6.9-inch AMOLED at up to 120Hz, Snapdragon 8 Elite, all-day battery under heavy use, a stylus in the box, and a Privacy Display.
“If there's ever been a phone to make you ditch Apple, this is it.”
Expensive, but timed right
This is still a four-figure phone. A nearly 20% discount on a current flagship is rare enough that waiting rarely pays, and deal prices can change any day.
What to remember
