A book in your pocket
The Xteink X3 is an ultra-mini e-reader built around one idea: small enough to carry anywhere. Right now it's 20% off.
“If you've ever wished you could slip a book into your pocket, the Xteink X3 mini e-reader was made for you.”
$63.18, down from $79
As of Sept. 14 the X3 is $63.18 at Amazon, a $15.82 saving off its $79 list price.
“SAVE $15.82”
The clock is the catch
It's a Lightning deal. You have until the end of the day, or until the counter hits "100% claimed," whichever comes first.
“You only have until the end of the day to get your hands on this deal, or until the counter bar says "100% claimed."”
One writer isn't sold
Mashable's reviewer prefers a basic Kindle, which already fits in a purse and does the one thing the X3 won't.
“I don't particularly understand the hype of this ultra-mini, ultra-trendy e-reader.”
No backlight, no night reading
The X3 has no backlighting, so it only works in bright settings. For anyone who reads in bed, that's the whole argument over.
“a personal dealbreaker for me”
What you actually get
A 3.7-inch screen, magnetic attachment to the back of your phone, up to 10 hours of battery, and 16GB onboard expandable to 256GB.
“it also magnetically attaches to the back of your phone”
